Finally the day i have been waiting for came. This day is offcourse the day that i was to start my internship in Arla Foods Plc in Leeds, Yorkshire – United Kingdom.
The trip didnt start really well, the train coud’nt leave Fredericia, and when we finally drove, we where 25 minutes late. No problem, made it to the airport in time to check in. Great no fine for overweight. Even though i had 5 kg’s extra. Max had 11kg extra, and martin 9kg. Martin got fined as the only one, but only for 5kg of overweight.
When we where to board the plain, there where only 7 other passangers than the 3 of us. So 10 in total. To say the plain was empty was an understatement. But im getting ahead of my self.
The plain is a small commercial jet, from British Midlands. I have never been in such a small plain. 1-2 seats across. I was placed in the one furthest in the back, a single seat. I coud’nt even stand tall in there. It is a very small plain 
Anyway the ride was as smooth as ever. I sleept for merelly 1½ hour. We got our baggage without any trouble. But the taxi driver which was supposed to pick us up, had mixed something up, so we had to wait for almost 1 hour before he came to pick us up. In a gigantic Range Rover Sport. Fantastic car
When we finally got to Arla Foods Plc’s headquarter here in Leeds, we met with Søren, the one in charge of the interns over here. And we also got to met the people which is going to be in charge of us specifically.
Unfortuntally the last apartment wasnt ready yet. So there wasnt a place for me to sleep for the next week or more. Max and Martin got a flat for sharing, and im going to share one with another guy, Albert, from Estonia. But instead i got a room at the Travelodge Hotel in the city center. All payed offcourse.
This is where i am currently located. And its okay. Unfortuntally the internet is quite expensive, 10£ a day – 100 danish, or 1 hour for 5 £.
But its close to the city center, and to the busstation. So i can get around quite easilly. But i have to buy myself a bike this week.
