As it seems i have finally finished all unclosed business in Estonia it is time for a new adventure.
Almost 2 weeks ago, we (all the 3 danes) was told that we failed the course “International Business” – hence we failed the final exam, on my account with 29 points out of 100. Which in total gave me a 0.
Offcourse this was unsatisfactory, and luckelly it was possible to make a reexam, and in Denmark. As we didnt cheat the first time, and didnt wanted to cheat the 2nd time around either, it wasnt a problem it was in DK. Much to our suprise, the test was the exact same as we had allready had. But anyway, i passed the exam with a 4 out of 5. Which in total gave me a 4 for the course.
This means that i have passed all my courses in Estonia with an average above 4. GREAT – especially because i was quite nervoues about the level required.
My new adventure
Many other things have happened since i returned to DK. Christmas, New years eve, and others. Most significantly have been my brothers start up at a folk high school. This have left me alone in the flat in Fredericia. Quite borring.
Annika – One of our great tutors have visited me for a weekend, when she was on her way to her new school. That was great – both company, and also a breath of air from Estonia..
As i am supposed to start an internship in february, and hadnt found one before christmas, i have also applied at numerous places through out the start of january. Finally i got an offer from Siemens in New Jersey, unfortunatelly my university couldnt agree with the tasks offered to me. So i had to say no
Instead i send an application to the english department of Arla foods. And the day after i recieved a call from them, offering me a placement in Leeds.
I am going on the 4th of february from DK to Leeds to start my internship in Arla Foods. And i am really exited about it. It is great. Hopefully more interesting things to come in the future.
Over and out
