Finally i got some time to write here..
Last weekend we went to this South Estonian trip. It was great fun. We startet out on friday evening, and went to a place in the south, where we should eat, party, eventually sleep.
After eating we started partying. Danish Style.. Martin and I shared a box of beer that evening
we went to sauna (120 degrees), and bathed in the river.. That was cold.. We went to bed as the last ones, at 7.30 am. We was waked up at 10. Pretty wasted..
Then we had to see some stuff, we saw a cool castle and a big swamp. Pretty cool.
The pictures can be found in the gallery under south estonian trip.
Then we went to a place called Forrest Brothers Farm, which is a place where some of the Freedom fighters where living during the soviet occupation. Long story. It was pretty cool also.
It was also the place where we should sleep and party. Again Martin and I shared a box of beer. DANISH STYLE. Most people where really drunk, they served somekind of Snaps (64%) real nasty. I had one shot (10cl) and that was more than enough for me.
Again we went to the sauna and swimmed in the river.
We went to bed around 4 am. And was waked up at 9 am. Wasted AGAIN..
Sunday we had to drive around, to see estonia’s highest “mountain”.. it was around 380 meters.
and we also saw Tartu, the student city.. It was okay..
When we went home most of the trip Martin and I played with the camera, which also can be seen on the pictures
Monday we had a presentation, and wednesday we had a handin. So the start of the week was pretty much about school stuff 24/7.
Wednesday evening we went to the city and partied with the icelandic guys and girl.. GREAT.
Thursday we had to go to Narva at 8.30 Am with one of our lectures. Since we went to bed at 4 am we where again pretty wasted. But it was fun though.
We went to see a power plant, which was pretty old. the one covering the area where we live (Mustamää) and the old town with hot water.
Afterwards we went to an old Oilshell mine. (6 years since it was used commercially – so not that old) it was a weired feeling to be 12-20 meters below the surface in an mine that looked like it could drop in a second. An experience..
Then we went to Narva, and saw Russia on the other side of the river..
And a castle facing Russia.. Cool enough..
Then we went home. we was in Tallinn around 9 pm. Ready to go to bed..
Friday we had another trip with the same lecturer. We went to see the electric railways and played squash.
Friday evening, was set to be relaxing. But Daniella from austria “forced” us to join her and the others in the city. So Martin and i got to bed around 5.30 am.
Saturday we was invited on a trip to Vääna-Jôesuu, which is a summerhouse region about 20 km from Tallinn. We went from the hostel around 12, it was snowing
the 3th of november, crazy…
The place was heated with wood. So we made fire and everything. The ones going was, Annika (Martins Tutor), Eveliina (My substitute tutor), Tiina (My tutor), Alex (Great italian guy), Martin, and me. We barbecued, watched movies, was in sauna, playing the snow right after sauna, made pancakes, got drunk, teached them Meyer, and all other sorts of stuff.
It was really cool. We came back to the hostel around 6pm. The pictures is not on the internet though, and will not be.
WHAT HAPPENS IN Vääna-Jôesuu, STAYS IN Vääna-Jôesuu…
